Ashre 62 – energy conservation
ASHRAE 62 is the worldwide standard used to calculate outside air requirements in commercial buildings.
When using the VRP (Ventilation Rate Procedure ), as C02 levels increase, the other contaminants of concern (VOC’s) will also rise and outside air should be increased, resulting in high energy costs.
When using the IAQP (Indoor Air Quality Procedure), as C02 levels increase, the other contaminants of concern (VOC’s) are controlled to a minimum steady state level due to air purification equipment. One method to control contaminants of concern (VOC’s) is Bi-polar Ionization.
