Disinfection Mechanism
Ozone generators can be used for deodorize, disinfect, kill or remove dangerous or irritating airborne particles in indoor environments. Ozone is nature’s most powerful and environmentally friendly disinfectant and deodorizer currently known to mankind. It is the most ecologically friendly disinfection method as ozone is a natural gas that breaks down in to oxygen and leaves no residual or harmful chemical by-products. In corona discharge technology, oxygen in air is oxidized and ozone is produced. These ozone molecules will oxidize organic compounds and sterilize all organic matter in the air or as well as on the surfaces.
How it Works?
Ozone generators are compact and portable electronic modules. Ozone is formed via an electrical discharge that is diffused over and area using a dielectric to create a corona discharge. Oxygen in air or pure oxygen which passes through this corona discharge is converted into ozone. Ozone generators can either discharge ozone gas into air or dissolved ozone water depending on the application.
Benefits
Ozone cannot be stored due to a short half-life and must be produced on-site and on-demand.
Ozone break down odors near their source and eliminate them
Ozone oxidizes toxic gasses and chemical residuals from dangerous chemicals such as cleaning products, pesticides, paints, solvents, mold, mildew and more.
Highly reactive ozone gas will react with outer surface proteins of bacteria and viruses and destroy them. You can completely sterilize an enclosed space and guarantee safety from airborne illness and disease.
Hence the unit consisted with all electrical parts, no or very low maintenance is required.
Corona discharge technology uses no chemicals, heavy metals or mercury, and produces no harmful by-products. Generated ozone will be decayed into oxygen gas, automatically by sunlight or open environment
Types of Ozone Generators
