An important feature of the testers is a replaceable electrode within a reusable tester body. The microprocessor-based meter gives accurate readings in fluctuating temperatures and can be easily calibrated. The meter’s waterproof and dustproof housing is rugged having an IP 57 rating for protection against solid objects or liquids. A large, upright, LCD screen affords clear viewing, while a protective cap helps to reduce contamination. A silicone O-ring ensures ease of electrode module replacement. These meters are cost effective and come encased in a protective carrying pouch for safety and portability. 

Conductivity Meter

A Conductivity Meter measures the electrical conductivity in a solution. Commonly used in hydroponics aquaculture and freshwater systems to monitor the amount of nutrients salts or impurities in the water. This instrument is ideal for testing liquids like natural water drinking water treated water waste water brine solution sea water and soluble salt content in liquids.

Handheld DO Meter

 

Dissolved oxygen analysis measures the amount of oxygen (O2) dissolved in an aqueous solution. Oxygen enters water from the surrounding air and as a byproduct of photosynthesis. Handheld ORP Meter Pro

 

ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) is a term used frequently in the water treatment and food processing industry. It is a measure of the cleanliness of the water and its ability to break down contaminants. ORP sensors work by measuring the dissolved oxygen i.e. if contaminants in the water are more it results in less dissolved oxygen because the organics are consuming the oxygen and the ORP level is low. The higher the ORP level the more ability the water has to destroy foreign contaminants such as microbes or carbon-based contaminants. ORP level can also be viewed as the level of bacterial activity of the water because a direct link occurs between ORP level and Coli form count in water.
