Project Details
On January 20, 2023, we commissioned another RO-based water treatment plant in Kadurugaswewa, Madirigiriya, a project funded by the Sri Lanka Belgium Association, to provide drinking water to a deserving village in Madirigiriya rural community largely affected by Chronic Kidney Disease (CKDu).
This village's residents have walked 7 to 8 kilometers in search of safe drinking water. They were suffering from chronic kidney disease as a result of agricultural activities and were overjoyed to receive a RO plant. We will be grateful to the Belgium Association for allowing us to collaborate with them and our team to complete this project.
